After connecting your project to the MANTYS Network, you will be contacted by one of the "MANTYS technology watch co-ordinators" (see "Partners"). Together, you will establish a first draft of an “innovation sheet” on your project. You will be considered as the "project interface" of the project towards the Network.

This innovation sheet will contain an overview of the added value generated by your project. It will promote the research carried out in your project, particularly in terms of potential exploitation. It will be used later on to make a contribution towards the MANTYS Technology Trend Reports (see Activities – Technology Watch?

Via the Innovation Sheet your project and its consortium will be promoted among the MANTYS Network Partners. Promotion for your project, its most important achievements and exploitable results will be made through the public Technology Trend Reports.

You have innovation access to the other information generated within the Network. You will get access to the information sheets of all the projects in your field. You will be allowed to read all the public documents generated within MANTYS 9 months before their official release.

You will be part of a European exchange platform of manufacturing technology research, providing you with a multitude of possibilities to prepare future research activities and giving your organisation the best opportunities to participate in the future European research programmes (see Framework Programme 6 web page). The MANTYS Network will be a medium for you and the partners of your consortium to be brought into contact with potential future research and business partners.

If the European Commission supports your project and if the EC recommends that the project should be reviewed by an independent expert, the MANTYS Network can propose an expert to the EC. If the EC accepts this expert as project reviewer of your project, your link with the MANTYS Network is even stronger, since the expert will act as cluster co-ordinator in the network and will be able to support your consortium with recommendations, advice and potential links to projects in you field.

European funded as well as national or private projects can be connected. The only condition is that the Network is limited to the European research society.
